Oakridge Backyard Terrace
We had the privilege of turning this sloped backyard into a beautiful terraced patio.
With all of the different elevations of steps, doorway, and pathway to consider, we needed to get creative in order to maximize the patio area with minimal steps & landings.
The final product is perfect for entertaining or just sitting out and enjoying the sunshine!
Flagstone Front Entry
This project consisted of a flagstone overlay on the existing concrete porch and a dry-laid flagstone walkway in place of the old and tired paving stones.
This timeless design looks absolutely stunning in any landscape.
Drystone Wall at Wynfield
This retaining wall was built 30 years ago by the homeowner, but had recently begun to collapse.
We ripped everything out down to the subsoil and took hammer and chisel to each and every stone. An additional 2 ton of stone was brought in from the quarry to achieve proper depth for maximum wall strength. The copes are mortared to safeguard against rock-climbing grandchildr

This project required a retaining wall to terrace the backyard into two levels to optimize space for the walkout basement.
Using 12" Orillia armour stone, we built a staircase, landing, 4ft high retaining wall spanning over 60 ft in length with two 90deg corners.
With over 50 ton of armour stone, this dry stack retaining wall is built to withstand the test of time.
Komoka Covered Patio
The clients wanted a raised interlock patio to transition between the different elevations of existing deck and back lawn, and eliminating the need for any stairs.
The premium finish coupled with a 3-piece modular laying pattern created an absolutely stunning result. This interlock paver patio will be enjoyed for many years to come.
Grand Bend Getaway
The flagstone on this job was reclaimed from the original landscape installation overtaken by erosion from years of winter storms on the lake.
We utilized this gorgeous oversized flagstone to build a new patio area uphill, behind the cottage. This area is perfect for relaxing or entertaining, all while enjoying breath-taking views of lake Huron.
Oakridge Stoneworks
The existing slope of this backyard created a challenging environment for outdoor recreation.
The new design would terrace the yard into two levels, an upper level for a future deck & patio, and lower level with flat lawn area.
The finished product was absolutely stunning! A 5ft tall armour stone retaining wall with a creative mix of sizes, transitioning into a stone garden buil
